Serves 6
Ingredients:
1 1/2 tsp olive oil, dividd
1 garlic clove, minced
3/4 pound Brussel Sprouts, trimmed and halved
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 1/2 tsp finely chopped walnuts
1/2 ounce grated cheese
Directions:
Heat 1 tsp oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook one minute stirring constantly. Add breadcrumbs, cook until lightly browned. Transfer to a small bowl. Heat remaining 1/2 tsp oil over medium heat and add brussel sprouts and cook 8 minutes or until leaves just wilt. Stir frequently. Remove from heat and toss with breadcrumb mixture, salt and pepper.Top with walnuts and cheese.
